DENVER (KDVR) — The Indy Pass, a ski pass similar to the Ikon or Epic, goes on sale Monday with more Colorado mountains added this year.

Many skiers and snowboarders who plan on heading to the mountains this winter can buy season passes that give them access to several areas and resorts in the state.

The Epic Pass includes mountains like Vail and Breckenridge, while the Ikon Pass includes popular Front Range mountains like Winter Park or Copper Mountain. There's also the Indy Pass, which includes access to other ski areas across Colorado.

Indy Pass goes on sale

The Indy Base Pass is around half the price of an Ikon or Epic Pass, but it only offers two days of skiing or riding at each resort on its list, plus 25% off on the third day, along with other benefits.

The pass has partnered with over 200 independent resorts around the world, including two new additions in Colorado.

This year, there are seven Colorado ski areas on the pass: Howelsen Hill, Granby Ranch, Echo Mountain, Sunlight Mountain Resort, Powderhorn and the newest additions, Hoedown Hill and Loveland Ski Area.

The pass already went on sale for waitlist members, but Indy said that the general public sale starts on Monday. The Base Pass is $419 for adults and $239 for kids. It includes two days at each resort with blackout dates.

More information about the pass can be found on its website.
