Denver weather: Sunny skies once again with warm temperatures

DENVER (KDVR) — Wednesday is another day with sunshine and warm air, as highs will remain above average for the rest of the workweek and into the weekend in the Denver weather forecast.

Weather today: Sunny and warm

Wednesday morning will start with temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s before making their way into the middle to lower 70s under mostly sunny skies.

This will be about 10 degrees above average for this time of the year.

Weather tonight: Clear skies stick around

Clear skies continue to dominate the area as overnight lows will sink into the middle 40s. Look for winds out of the southwest anywhere from 5-10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.

Looking ahead: Staying sunny into the start of next week

Thursday follows the trend of sunshine with high temperatures reaching the 70s. Thursday will also be breezy as a cold front moves through the area, bringing wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Friday will be cooler and more seasonal with temperatures only reaching the 60s. Then, sunshine and a warming trend return for the weekend.

Monday will be sunny and breezy with high temperatures reaching the 70s ahead of the next big change.

Tuesday, a cold front will move toward the area, increasing the chance for showers and drastically dropping temperatures for the middle of the week.
